The Housecall Vet, LLC, which was established by Dr. Nia M. Perkins in 2007, provides many veterinary services to your pets where they feel most comfortable, at home. So what are some of the benefits of a housecall veterinarian? There are many but here are a few examples:

Convenience: Dr. Perkins works with you to accommodate your schedule, while keeping the convenience of staying at home. She will travel to you!

Comfortable Environment: Some pets do very well in a clinic setting, but if your companion hides every time you bring out the dreaded cat carrier, or turns aggressive when they see a doctor in the white lab coat, then a house call vet may be helpful. Services are provided in your home where everyone feels most comfortable.

Contagious Bugs: Since Dr. Perkins comes to you, there is no worry of your pet contracting some of the viruses that can be picked up from other pets, such as kennel cough or upper respiratory infections.
