Nia M. Perkins, DVM

So here is a little information about myself. I am a native of Chicago, Illinois where most of my family still resides. I received my undergraduate degree from Xavier University in New Orleans, Louisiana (my second home) and my DVM degree from Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine in May 2002. I came to Alexandria, Virginia right out of veterinary school and have practiced at various clinics in the area. I take care of mainly dogs and cats, but I also see the occasional pocket pet. I have a special interest in skin issues, however I am not a specialist. I currently do not have pets, but it is likely that a new family addition will be joining my son Jourdan and me very soon.
